In Sink: Buying the best from the best – every day
By Dean Sink , Mickey President

Dean Sink
Our customers are very loyal to Mickey because they know that when they buy from Mickey, they are buying the best of everything. The best people, the best quality, the best on-time delivery and the best customer service. Our competitors can?t touch us in any of these areas.
The proof is in the performance. We?re setting records every year for safety, quality, production and sales. And we continue to set the bar even higher!
But being the best today is no guarantee that we will still be the best tomorrow. That requires continuous improvement. Every single person on the Mickey team ? regardless of where he or she works — strives to be the best at what they do today, and then be even better at it tomorrow. At Mickey we refer to this effort as the 3D?s – desire, determination & dedication, and it applies to every one of us because every job at Mickey is an important job. If it wasn?t, the job wouldn?t exist. There are no exceptions.
This issue of The Spirit features 2 Mickey teammates who exemplify the 3D?s. Greg McLaughlin recently retired from the company after 34 years. Over that period of time he built a national Reconditioning & Service organization virtually from scratch. Jim Hiatt just celebrated 30 years at Mickey and during his tenure he turned a relatively local van body business into national powerhouse. They both possessed the desire, determination and dedication to improve every day.
Greg and Jim worked at being the best all the time. There?s a lot of that going around at Mickey these days. Happy New Year and happy reading.
