All of corporate America seems to be preoccupied with the dialog in Washington about the international tariff activity and potential trade war with China other countries. In our industry there is an even keener focus on what could happen if imported steel and aluminum were hit with additional taxes.
I don?t take the proposals lightly and I am not saying that tariffs will not impact our business, or yours. What I am saying is that at Mickey we will continue to control the things we can control. Things like teammate safety (see ?Safety is a Team Sport? article in this issue), product quality and innovation (see ?Frito-Lay? article in this issue), features that keep your drivers safe and your trucks on the road. We are aware and interested in the tariff talk, but our focus remains squarely on 100% customer satisfaction.
The cost of raw materials may impact our business and our industry, but it will never affect our commitment to 100% customer satisfaction in everything we do, and to ensuring that your best value in high quality delivery equipment comes from Mickey Truck Bodies. In that you can rest assured.
Happy reading.
