Mickey Truck Bodies has been named to the 2017 Grant Thornton North Carolina 100® (NC100) list of the largest private companies. We are #71 on the list and the only company headquartered in High Point to be represented.
?Companies on the North Carolina 100 list are the backbone of our local economy,? says Dave Wedding, Managing Partner for the Southeast Region of Grant Thornton. ?They are North Carolina?s top builders, innovators and creators ? hardworking people who keep our state running on a smooth track.?
This is a list we definitely belong on. ?Builders, innovators, creators, hardworking people.? That describes Mickey to a tee. We build great products ? products our customers need and want. We innovate with features and options that help our customers operate more productively and more profitably. We create solutions for problems like workers? comp, product proliferation, multiple routes, city traffic. And we are able to do all this because we have talented, dedicated and hardworking people at Mickey Truck Bodies.
We also take great pride in one other distinction the Grant Thornton folks pointed out: ?A large number of family-owned companies, passed down through generations, hold spots on the list.?
Mickey Truck Bodies is now in its 4th generation of hands-on family ownership, a total of 113 years. That probably puts us near the top of another list.
Happy reading.
