Mickey team shows its Christmas Spirit

The Mickey team poses with all the toys they contributed to the 2016 Mickey Toy Drive.
The Mickey team set another record for charitable giving to the 2016 United Way Campaign by contributing 6% more over last year?s total. Once again the effort represented 100% participation by Mickey employees.
?This year?s contributions by the Mickey team will go a long way toward helping less fortunate families in the High Point area through donations made in our name to some 30 agencies, including the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army,? says Gail Wells, Mickey VP of Employee & Community Affairs.”Following the United Way campaign some of our Mickey teammates suggested that we collect toys for needy children in Eastern NC that had their homes destroyed by Hurricane Matthew. Our employees jumped on board and we took in toys every single day throughout our Christmas Toy Drive, which ended on December 3.”
Mickey matched the estimated value of the collected toys with a cash contribution that was used to purchase additional items.
?Activities and ideas like this make me especially proud to be a member of the Mickey team,? adds Dean Sink, Mickey President.
