Mickey, Roush get ‘green’ light at BevOps
Mickey Truck Bodies and ROUSH CleanTech teamed up at the 10th annual BevOps Fleet Summit in Las Vegas to discuss how innovative and reliable propane autogas can be a smart choice for reducing fuel and maintenance costs while providing cleaner air for the community.

BevOps attendees check out the Arrowhead Propane Autogas truck during the ?Ride & Drive? Equipment Demo at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Last year, Mickey and ROUSH CleanTech collaborated on 5 propane Autogas Ford F-550 trucks for Nestlé Waters North America in the Los Angeles market.
Several Mickey units were on display at the BevOps ?Ride & Drive? Equipment Demo at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, including a Nestlé Arrowhead 8.5-bay body on a Propane Autogas Ford chassis. The unit?s new Mickey E-Lock and fold-down front hand truck rack for easy under-the-hood access also impressed visitors to the joint Mickey/Roush booth.
Peterbilt chose a Mickey body (10.5-bay) with the E-Lock to introduce its new ?Cabover? medium duty chassis at BevOps, and in another aisle, Hino unveiled a 195A Hybrid Diesel/Electric with a 6-bay Mickey mini body to handle city-type deliveries from a 19,500 GVWR truck. Many of the BevOps attendees actually got to drive these trucks during the ?Ride & Drive.?
Finally, DBI Beverage Inc., which operates eight beer distributorships in California, showed off its 2015 Corona layout on a spanking new 16-bay Mickey ?Combo? refrigerated trailer.
?Bev Ops was a very busy event for us this year with great opportunities to meet current customers and new prospects,? says Tom Arland, Mickey VP of Beverage, Van and Specialty Vehicle Sales. ?Our autogas ?green? alternatives for fleet operators really turned a lot of heads, but we also stood out for the diversity of delivery vehicles we had on display over the 3-day show.”
