Kevin Gentle Joins Mickey in New Role
Kevin Gentle has joined Mickey Truck Bodies as 3D CAD/PDM Engineering Specialist, a new position underscoring the company?s commitment to continuous improvement, new product innovation and manufacturing quality. He reports to Noel DiBona, VP New Product Development.
In his new role, Kevin will help implement new modeling practices and data handling techniques to better support the shop floor, accounting and sales with more detailed information.
?Kevin brings 10 years of experience in various industries, with a very strong background in 3D modeling and reverse engineering,? says Noel. ?He has also earned the distinction of Certified SolidWorks Professional, which requires a great deal of independent study and is a classification that is attained by very few.?
Before joining Mickey, Kevin was Senior Mechanical Designer with Denver Global Products in Lincolnton, NC, and prior to that he was a CAD Designer for Newton, NC-based Technibilt/Cari-All. He held similar positions with Triad Racing Development, Wood Brothers/JTG Racing and Robert Yates Racing, among other companies. Kevin has a college degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
