There’s a quote that goes something like, “Learn from history or you’re doomed to repeat it.? I’m not sure who uttered those original and exact words but it’s pretty good advice for all of us who suffered through last year’s harsh winter.

While Mickey manufactures the most durable bodies and trailers in the world, even our equipment is not totally impervious to the harmful effects of Old Man Winter – or from Mother Nature for that matter. Your brand image is one of your company’s most powerful assets, so keeping it looking sharp year round, especially in full view of your consumers, is one of your company’s top priorities.

With that in mind, and with snow and ice season lurking – Farmer’s Almanac says it’s going to be another wild one – I asked 2 of our trusted vendor partners to provide some “tips” to help you keep your delivery equipment looking its best when winter is at its worst. John McKenzie, owner of McKenzie Industries and one of the country’s foremost experts on decal application; and Neil Clarke, Business Manager of Commercial Vehicles for Valspar, our paint supplier, with some simple, actionable and very sound advice. It’s so important that we made it the top story in this edition of THE MICKEY SPIRIT. Please take a few moments to read the article and by all means, share it with everyone in your company who wants to see your brand image shine on this winter.
