Great teams overcome great adversity to achieve desired results. Case in point: the team at Mickey Truck Bodies and the year 2020.
To say that 2020 was a year of tremendous adversity would be an understatement, as the world faced a horrific pandemic. Through it all we were able to keep our plants open and our bodies and trailers delivering essential products to people around the country, all thanks to the outstanding Mickey team. That would be an amazing story on its own, but there?s more. For the eighth straight year 100% of Mickey employees contributed to the United Way of High Point to help struggling families within our own communities; families that needed assistance more than ever in 2020.
Great teams are made up of great people. We lost one of the great ones earlier this year with the passing of Rocky Barham, whose desire, dedication and determination over the past four decades set the bar really high for all of us here at Mickey.
We have several other great teammates celebrating major milestones with the company this month, including Jerry Myers, a Mickey Welder with 40 years of service, Timothy Koehler (25 years), Terry Gordon (20 years), and Susan Chester (15 years).
The Mickey team is the solid foundation that makes Mickey Truck Bodies a great company. Our people are dedicated to each other, to the company, to our customers and to our communities, in good times and bad. That’s the Mickey Way.
